Toilet overflow in Monterey, CA

This home had a toilet overflow with sewage. When this happens, you have to thoroughly assess what areas are affected so nothing gets missed. Sewage water can leave behind bacteria laden pockets that could cause sickness to the occupants. 

Once the affected areas were identified we removed the affected drywall then proceeded to clean and sanitize the studs and floor. We then started to dry out the structure to remove excess moisture to ensure no mold would grown. Then we removed our equipment and let the home owner know they can contract with a General Contractor to put back drywall.
